a proper about me

and only a year late. :)

i’m amanda. and i’m awesome.

i had a few paragraphs written up before i realized everyone has the attention span of an ant, so i’m going to state some random facts in bullet points for you to all not read as well. :)

• i’m 24
• i live in a super small town in michigan, but i’m usually in the metro-detroit-ish area as i work in sterling heights and go to school in auburn hills
• i’m a senior at oakland university studying journalism and graphic design. i’m going to graduate one of these days.
• i’m an atheist
• i’m a libertarian teetering on the edge of total anarchist due to my intense hatred for government
• i have a ridiculous passion for music and listen to everything, although my top five are as follows:

1.) the fall of troy

2.) minus the bear

3.) coheed and cambria

4.) foxy shazam

5.) protest the hero

• i love to do anything creative, whether i’m writing, drawing, painting, crafting, anything that involves creating and being imaginative is my favorite.
• i still play video games. all the time. there’s basically not much better than cuddling up with the boyfrand and rocking some pokemon, that’s for damn sure. i’m an xbox 360 fangirl, and i am prepared to fight you if you claim the ps3 is superior. especially now. :D
• as far as what i post on tumblr, some days will be more text-heavy, some days will be more re-blog heavy. i post a lot of thoughts on music, lots of pictures of penguins, basically anything that i feel appropriate for the moment.
• i love the community that is tumblr and i’d sincerely like to actually get to know some of you, so don’t be shy. it is the internet, after all. :)
• if you have any questions/comments/complaints, you know where to put them. anon is on but i don’t feed trolls, that is unless i have a super witty comeback.
